Spectators: 6707 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1707, VIP seats: 0) Luneile AS's Viorel Pencu started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 4 played minutes Luneile AS got a freekick which was hit by Codrin Soare. Nae Constantiniu shot a long shot in the 5th minute and a light blocked Gică Magherescu hadn't a chance when the ball went into goal on his right side. It was 0-1. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Luneile AS's goalkeeper Gică Magherescu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 12 minutes into the match, F.C NTY's goal looked a bit too open when Viorel Pencu came free, but Nicodim Dobrescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Viorel Pencu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicodim Dobrescu having to interfere. Iulian Ologu took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gică Magherescu. Gică Magherescu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 21st match minute, Luneile AS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Horea Drăucean to maneuver through the defense. Gică Muntian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Nicodim Dobrescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When F.C NTY's Joel Hasky in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Luneile AS's goalie prevented a goal. When Stelian Enigărescu fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored F.C NTY's protests and gave Stelian Enigărescu a yellow card for diving instead. After 29 played minutes F.C NTY got a freekick which was hit by Stelian Enigărescu. Luneile AS's Gică Magherescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joel Hasky in the 32nd minute of play. 33 minutes into the game, Stelian Enigărescu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Gică Magherescu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 38 minutes into the match, Luneile AS's goal looked a bit too open when Stelian Enigărescu came free, but Gică Magherescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 39th minute Iulian Ologu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gică Magherescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 47 minutes into the match, F.C NTY's goal looked a bit too open when Manole Uncheşu came free, but Nicodim Dobrescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joel Hasky stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Joel Hasky received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Gică Magherescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 53 minutes into the match, Luneile AS's Viorel Pencu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nicodim Dobrescu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Nicodim Dobrescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Viorel Pencu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Petre Penciulescu hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Joel Hasky sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Codrin Soare kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Nae Constantiniu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Gică Magherescu made a huge save. F.C NTY's Eusebiu Mareș was substituted for Iulian Ologu. Nicodim Dobrescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dorin Avădanei in the 70th minute of the match. In the 71st minute, Petre Penciulescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dorin Avădanei in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nicodim Dobrescu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 73rd minute, Petre Penciulescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Dorin Avădanei managed to get in a good position for a shot. Luneile AS's supporters rose to their feet, but Dorin Avădanei was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nicodim Dobrescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Petre Penciulescu fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored F.C NTY's protests and gave Petre Penciulescu a yellow card for diving instead. After 76 played minutes F.C NTY got a freekick which was hit by Petre Penciulescu. F.C NTY made a substitution. Fabian Casian replaced Petre Penciulescu. The crowd rose to their feet as Eusebiu Mareș kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gică Magherescu. That made the score 0-5 in the 87 minute of play. F.C NTY's Vasile Cristea was substituted for Joel Hasky. In the 92nd minute, Fabian Casian hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 94th minute, Fabian Casian got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Luneile AS fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. F.C NTY were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
