Spectators: 6703 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1703, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Nistor Caba took the kick off in the first half of the match. 8 minutes into the game, Luneile AS's Dorin Avădanei nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vasile Rednic made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 18th minute of the match, Viorel Pencu tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Vasile Rednic saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 18th minute, Manuel Mustăcilă hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 20th match minute, Luneile AS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Viorel Pencu to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 22 minutes, Codrin Goiciu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sipoteni AS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Codrin Goiciu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 23 minutes into the match, Luneile AS's goal looked a bit too open when Nistor Caba came free, but Gică Magherescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nistor Caba in the 26th minute of play forced Luneile AS's goalkeeper Gică Magherescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 27 minutes into the game, Manole Uncheşu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Luneile AS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sipoteni AS the free kick. 28 minutes into the match, Sipoteni AS's Virgil Pupăzan broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Vasile Rednic didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dorin Avădanei went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Gică Magherescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Petruț Pelin in the 39th minute of the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The wind increased when Viorel Pencu made the kick off in the second half. Vasile Rednic took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Viorel Pencu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 61 minutes into the game, Viorel Pencu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Vasile Rednic was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Sipoteni AS's Codrin Goiciu in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Sipoteni AS's Vasile Rednic played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dorin Avădanei in the 76th minute of play. Petruț Pelin charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Petruț Pelin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Petruț Pelin kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Sipoteni AS's zone, Dorin Avădanei stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vasile Rednic came out of the goal and Dorin Avădanei tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Viorel Pencu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Manole Uncheşu got his second yellow card in the match during the 86th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. Manole Uncheşu kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Sipoteni AS's Nistor Caba got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 89 played minutes Luneile AS got a freekick which was hit by Basarab Zubaşcu. Codrin Goiciu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Gică Magherescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luneile AS were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Sipoteni AS for a fine match.
