Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Robert Ghițulescu started the match with the kick off. Dragoş Marica was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Nistor Aalexoaiei showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 4 minute of play. 7 minutes into the game, Manole Boaru was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vacareni's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Berca FCM the free kick. Berca FCM's supporters crossed their fingers, but Radu Doicaru was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Berca FCM's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Dragoş Marica was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Dorel Bărnuțiu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Tudor Aalexoaiei tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
