In the 19th minute, Ion Macovescu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 27th minute, Ferdinand Pantelimon made a precise shot to the right of Niculae Cristoloveanu. Precizia Săcele's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ion Macovescu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Niculae Cristoloveanu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 48th minute of play. After the first half Bekas were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Virgil Negrilă made the kick off in the second half. Ionuț Vârjean made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Virgil Negrilă in the 54th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ciprian Elisei in the 54th minute of play forced Precizia Săcele's goalkeeper Niculae Cristoloveanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ferdinand Pantelimon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle sounded Bekas left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Precizia Săcele.
