Pavel Nistor ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Santimreu booed when Inter Gaz București was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Narcis Ghițescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ionel Lupulescu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 63rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Aurel Jienescu. Santimreu's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 65th minute, Avram Tapalagă hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Albert Petrulean fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aurel Jienescu having to interfere. Pavel Nistor's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Aurel Jienescu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. Santimreu's Aurel Jienescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pavel Nistor in the 88th minute of play. After 91 minutes of play, Inter Gaz București's Octavian Sitaru made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aurel Jienescu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Inter Gaz București's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
