The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Viorel Nicodim's late challenge caught a Cainii rosii's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Cainii rosii's Cristi Bușcu got a free kick in the 13th minute. In the 15th minute Nicodim Stănciulescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ioan Prelipceanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nicolae Pârvuță was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 18 minutes into the match. In the 20th minute there was a penalty for FC DMN. Cristian Noica stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Manuel Floricel. 1-0. FC DMN's Marin Bunoaică quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Damian Burca, made in the 31st minute of the game. When Cristi Bușcu came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Cainii rosii fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristi Bușcu couldn't finish the play. Ioan Prelipceanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Liviu Prisecaru in the 33rd minute of the match. Cainii rosii's Manuel Floricel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Cainii rosii from getting a goal against them. Liviu Itoafă received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Manuel Floricel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Cainii rosii defense, Ioan Filipoiu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Manuel Floricel. The Cainii rosii fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Manuel Floricel should have stopped the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Liviu Prisecaru in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ioan Prelipceanu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ioan Prelipceanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Liviu Prisecaru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 71 minutes into the match, FC DMN's goal looked a bit too open when Liviu Prisecaru came free, but Ioan Prelipceanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Cainii rosii booed when FC DMN was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Liviu Itoafă didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 76 played minutes Liviu Prisecaru rounded FC DMN's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 3-3. Liviu Prisecaru kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. After 84 minutes of play, FC DMN's Ioan Filipoiu made it 4-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Manuel Floricel was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Ioan Filipoiu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 96 played minutes Cainii rosii got a freekick which was hit by Yan Peng Chuan. After having played for 97 minutes, Cristian Noica managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC DMN's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristian Noica was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. There was no doubt that FC DMN were the better team. FC DMN's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
