Sorin Senin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sever Sabău having to interfere. Sever Sabău showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Grigore Greavu in the 6th minute of the match. When Bogdan Cezar came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the AC BUCURESTI fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bogdan Cezar couldn't finish the play. After 8 minutes of play, AC BUCURESTI's Matei Cocârlă made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Eusebiu Adomniței was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Ciprian Bălășoiu fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AC BUCURESTI's protests and gave Ciprian Bălășoiu a yellow card for diving instead. In the 11th match minute, AC BUCURESTI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ciprian Bălășoiu to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of AC BUCURESTI booed when Streneac was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. In the 39th minute, Matei Cocârlă ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eusebiu Adomniței was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. Emilian Covaliu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Eusebiu Adomniței tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Matei Cocârlă had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sorin Senin made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sorin Senin in the 53rd minute of play forced AC BUCURESTI's goalkeeper Sever Sabău to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eusebiu Adomniței showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bogdan Cezar, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. AC BUCURESTI's Matei Cocârlă got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 61 minutes, Bogdan Cezar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AC BUCURESTI's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bogdan Cezar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Niculae Vasilian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Eusebiu Adomniței tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 64 minutes, Tiberiu Ştati mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AC BUCURESTI and the Streneac players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Streneac booed when AC BUCURESTI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tiberiu Ştati didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Sorin Senin came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Streneac fans jumped to their feet. Bogdan Cezar took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eusebiu Adomniței. Eusebiu Adomniței dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. Grigore Greavu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sever Sabău having to interfere. Vasile Scutaru kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Eusebiu Adomniței didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Matei Cocârlă went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-1 was the resulting score. A collision led to Streneac getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Emanuel Bungeanu hit a great ball. 89 minutes into the match, AC BUCURESTI's Matei Cocârlă sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eusebiu Adomniței narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Bogdan Cezar managed to get in a good position for a shot. AC BUCURESTI's supporters rose to their feet, but Bogdan Cezar was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eusebiu Adomniței breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Bogdan Cezar came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the AC BUCURESTI fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bogdan Cezar couldn't finish the play. Matei Cocârlă received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Eusebiu Adomniței tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. There was no doubt that AC BUCURESTI were the better team. AC BUCURESTI's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
