The referee ignored Cotorman AFC's protests and gave Manuel Frâncu a yellow card for diving instead. In a very dangerous position, a player in Cotorman AFC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 4th minute. Penalty! Nicolae Gâgea shot the penalty kick right outside the post. The supporters of Antas booed when Cotorman AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olimpiu Arieșan didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Cotorman AFC's Tudor Bălașa got a free kick in the 11th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cezar Arseni got free with Eduard Zota in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 14 minutes into the game, Rareș Gârneață was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cotorman AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Antas the free kick. A collision led to Cotorman AFC getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Rareș Gârneață hit a great ball. Romeo Şteţ kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. In the 20th minute Anton Stejaru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Costică Cazan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an all-out effort, Antas's Eduard Zota threw himself towards the right post 21 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Aurel Mihuleac, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 23rd minute, Cezar Arseni ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eduard Zota was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. After a rather tough play, Antas's Romeo Şteţ got a free kick in the 27th minute. 28 minutes into the match, Antas's goal looked a bit too open when Silviu Ţăranu came free, but Costică Cazan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Silviu Ţăranu scored 2-1 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Costică Cazan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Cezar Arseni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cezar Arseni didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 3-1 via right post in the game's 46th minute. Antas's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Silviu Ţăranu made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Anton Stejaru managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cotorman AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Anton Stejaru was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Costică Cazan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Dinu Baltian hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. In the 68th minute, Cotorman AFC's Silviu Ţăranu ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Costică Cazan. Costică Cazan yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-2. Cezar Arseni sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 75 minutes, Cezar Arseni managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Antas's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cezar Arseni was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Silviu Ţăranu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Costică Cazan came out and tried to block the shot, but Silviu Ţăranu slotted it home off the left post making it 3-3 in the 83rd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Bogdan Beca during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 89th match minute, Antas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bogdan Beca to maneuver through the defense. In the 91st minute, Bogdan Beca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 95 minutes into the match, Silviu Ţăranu dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Costică Cazan, 3-4. The Cotorman AFC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
