Spectators: 7394 (Terracing: 5546, Seating: 1701, VIP seats: 147) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Costin Bâru kicked off to start the match. Eduard Zota made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Costin Bâru in the 4th minute of play. Tudor Bălașa's late challenge caught a Barlogu's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tudor Bălașa helped the player get up and apologised. After 6 played minutes, Barlogu's Remus Opriș shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Eduard Zota came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Barlogu reached it. The audience was convinced that Costin Bâru's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Eduard Zota was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. 15 minutes into the game, Anton Stejaru cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Traian Boerescu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Silviu Ţăranu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Traian Boerescu came out and tried to block the shot, but Silviu Ţăranu slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 19th minute. Rareș Gârneață kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. After 23 played minutes, Barlogu's Remus Opriș shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Eduard Zota came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. Barlogu's Costin Bâru got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Barlogu getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Mihai Runcu hit a great ball. Traian Boerescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Silviu Ţăranu in the 42nd minute of play. 47 minutes into the match, Barlogu's goalkeeper Traian Boerescu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Anton Stejaru. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Silviu Ţăranu made a kick off. Costin Bâru was extremely unlucky when he, in the 51st minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Cotorman AFC's Tudor Bălașa got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Traian Boerescu came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Cotorman AFC's Anton Stejaru. But to his dismay, Anton Stejaru quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Anton Stejaru's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Traian Boerescu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 61st minute of play. In the 66th minute Anton Stejaru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Traian Boerescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Traian Boerescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tudor Bălașa in the 68th minute of the match. In the 69th minute, Manole Lăzărescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Traian Boerescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anton Stejaru in the 72nd minute of play. Emanuel Dobre hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Barlogu's Traian Boerescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anton Stejaru in the 74th minute of play. After 76 minutes, Costin Bâru mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Barlogu and the Cotorman AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Costin Bâru kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. After some careless play in the Cotorman AFC defense, Costin Bâru kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eduard Zota. The Cotorman AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eduard Zota should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Cotorman AFC getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Anton Stejaru hit a great ball. Costin Bâru blasted a shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eduard Zota having to make a save. Traian Boerescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anton Stejaru, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Cotorman AFC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Barlogu had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
