Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Aurel Mihuleac got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd minute, Sandu Cordescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Traian Boerescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aurel Mihuleac in the 6th minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, Antas's goal looked a bit too open when Costin Bâru came free, but Costică Cazan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 15 minutes into the match, Barlogu's goal looked a bit too open when Aurel Mihuleac came free, but Traian Boerescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Romeo Şteţ was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Traian Boerescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bogdan Beca, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. In the 21st minute, Costin Bâru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Barlogu's Traian Boerescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aurel Mihuleac in the 27th minute of play. Aurel Mihuleac blasted a shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Traian Boerescu having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aurel Mihuleac in the 32nd minute of play forced Barlogu's goalkeeper Traian Boerescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpected shot in the 38th minute by Cezar Arseni got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After 39 minutes, Cezar Arseni mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Antas and the Barlogu players grew even worse after the yellow card. 47 minutes into the game, Emanuel Dobre was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Barlogu's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Antas the free kick. In the 48th match minute, Barlogu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuel Dobre to maneuver through the defense. In the 50th minute Dinu Baltian managed to get in a great position but fired away a sharp shot that went outside the goal on the goalie's right hand side. It could just as well have been a goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Costin Bâru to make the kick off. Costică Cazan made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Costin Bâru sent off a good shot on target. Traian Boerescu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Aurel Mihuleac went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Emanuel Dobre kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Traian Boerescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bogdan Beca in the 65th minute of the match. Aurel Mihuleac fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Traian Boerescu having to interfere. In the 71st minute Bogdan Beca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Traian Boerescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Antas getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Romeo Şteţ hit a great ball. Aurel Mihuleac sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 81 minutes into the game, Aurel Mihuleac cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Traian Boerescu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Aurel Mihuleac might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Traian Boerescu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aurel Mihuleac ran back to his position shaking his head. 99 minutes into the match, Barlogu's goal looked a bit too open when Cezar Arseni came free, but Traian Boerescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Antas's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
