Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Silviu Ţăranu took the kick off in the first half of the match. Aurel Ghiciușca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anton Stejaru in the 6th minute of the match. In the 16th match minute, Cotorman AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andrei Petrean to maneuver through the defense. Dumitru Dorian didn't quite understand what happened when in the 18 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Silviu Ţăranu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aurel Ghiciușca having to interfere. Bogdan Coroian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Eduard Zota tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bogdan Coroian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eduard Zota having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Olimpiu Arieșan during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Cotorman AFC's Olimpiu Arieșan got a free kick in the 41st minute. After recieving a nice pass, Suligata CSS's Dumitru Dorian tried to score from far away in the 42nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Andrei Prodan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute of the match Andrei Petrean shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aurel Ghiciușca showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 56 minutes into the match, Suligata CSS's goalkeeper Aurel Ghiciușca had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Anton Stejaru. In the 58th minute of the match Andrei Petrean sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Aurel Ghiciușca skillfully saved the ball. Bogdan Coroian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 62 minutes, Bogdan Coroian managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Suligata CSS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bogdan Coroian was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Bogdan Coroian had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cotorman AFC's Eduard Zota played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrei Prodan in the 70th minute of play. Anton Stejaru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Silviu Ţăranu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aurel Ghiciușca having to make a save. Silviu Ţăranu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Aurel Ghiciușca came out and tried to block the shot, but Silviu Ţăranu slotted it home off the left post making it 0-1 in the 87th minute. If Andrei Prodan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 92nd match minute, Cotorman AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nichifor Nișu to maneuver through the defense. The Suligata CSS supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Cotorman AFC's performance. The match ended with a win for Cotorman AFC.
