Antas's Costică Cazan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silviu Ţăranu in the 7th minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, Antas's goal looked a bit too open when Silviu Ţăranu came free, but Costică Cazan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Cezar Arseni put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Eduard Zota. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Romeo Şteţ during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Antas's Romeo Şteţ got a free kick in the 23rd minute. 24 minutes into the match, Manole Lăzărescu sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Costică Cazan threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Manole Lăzărescu this time. Aurel Mihuleac received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Eduard Zota tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half Antas were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

57 minutes into the match, Cotorman AFC's goalkeeper Eduard Zota had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Cezar Arseni. In the 61st minute Silviu Ţăranu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Costică Cazan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Aurel Mihuleac came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Antas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aurel Mihuleac couldn't finish the play. Aurel Mihuleac blasted a shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eduard Zota having to make a save. Cezar Arseni fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eduard Zota having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Antas's Romeo Şteţ got a free kick in the 73rd minute. In the 73rd minute of the match Manole Lăzărescu sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Costică Cazan skillfully saved the ball. If Anton Stejaru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eduard Zota made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cezar Arseni in the 80th minute. 82 minutes into the game, Aurel Mihuleac recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Eduard Zota. Aurel Mihuleac showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. Doru Vătăşel kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Silviu Ţăranu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Costică Cazan having to make a save. If Silviu Ţăranu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
