Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The crowd rose to their feet as AF Targoviste's Octavian Todea slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Maxim Bârza. That made the score 1-0 after 3 minutes of play. 6 minutes into the match, Niculae Penescu notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Ciucia's Maxim Bârza. Maxim Bârza was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When AF Targoviste's Octavian Todea in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ciucia's goalie prevented a goal. If Octavian Todea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emilian Mereacre hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Gavril Grigoroiu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Horaţiu Văcăroiu in the 32nd minute of the match. Niculae Penescu didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 4-0 via right post in the game's 36th minute. AF Targoviste's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! Mădălin Câmpeanu's late challenge caught a AF Targoviste's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mădălin Câmpeanu helped the player get up and apologised. In the 42nd match minute, Ciucia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mădălin Câmpeanu to maneuver through the defense. If Niculae Penescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Niculae Penescu made a kick off. In the 53rd minute, Niculae Penescu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Maxim Bârza was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. In the 60th minute of the match AF Targoviste got a corner. Ciucia's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Horaţiu Mitruț ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Horaţiu Mitruț almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Ciucia's Maxim Bârza did a great save. When Niculae Penescu came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the AF Targoviste fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Niculae Penescu couldn't finish the play. After having played for 64 minutes, Niculae Penescu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AF Targoviste's supporters crossed their fingers, but Niculae Penescu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Isac Bâru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Octavian Todea struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Maxim Bârza didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AF Targoviste. When Octavian Todea came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the AF Targoviste fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Octavian Todea couldn't finish the play. Maxim Bârza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Niculae Penescu in the 85th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Ciucia's zone, Octavian Todea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maxim Bârza came out of the goal and Octavian Todea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Vintilă Tirulescu charged in rather forcefully in the 89th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vintilă Tirulescu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Niculae Penescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Maxim Bârza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gelu Jula fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maxim Bârza having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Andrei Miclescu during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. AF Targoviste's Ion Zbereanu was substituted for Niculae Penescu. In the 97th match minute, Ciucia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Andrei Miclescu to maneuver through the defense. When the referee ended the match the AF Targoviste players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
