Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) 5 minutes into the game, Hurez CSS's Codrin Cârneci nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Felix Gheorghiță made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lucian Fenici in the 12th minute of play forced Halmagel CSM's goalkeeper Felix Gheorghiță to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 18 minutes into the game, Costel Robu recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Vasile Murgoci. Costel Robu showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. After having played for 24 minutes, Mihnea Timaru managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hurez CSS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mihnea Timaru was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Grigore Lepuș received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Vasile Murgoci tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hurez CSS's Vasile Murgoci proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 36th minute of the match, managed to save Hurez CSS from getting a goal against them. After 40 played minutes Hurez CSS got a freekick which was hit by Lucian Fenici. Dorin Racoviță received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Vasile Murgoci tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 43 minutes, Grigore Lepuș managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Halmagel CSM's supporters crossed their fingers, but Grigore Lepuș was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Grigore Lepuș received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Vasile Murgoci tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Fabian Simion fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hurez CSS's protests and gave Fabian Simion a yellow card for diving instead. After 47 played minutes Hurez CSS got a freekick which was hit by Fabian Simion.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lucian Fenici made a kick off. Hurez CSS's Vasile Murgoci played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Grigore Lepuș in the 54th minute of play. Dorin Racoviță sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Grigore Lepuș struck a weak shot in the 58th minute. Vasile Murgoci didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Halmagel CSM. Dorin Racoviță scored 4-2 in the 59th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vasile Murgoci, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 63 minutes of play, Hurez CSS's Lucian Fenici made it 4-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Felix Gheorghiță was left in no man's land by his defense there! Vasile Murgoci made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dorin Racoviță in the 69th minute of play. Vasile Murgoci took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Grigore Lepuș, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dorin Racoviță in the 74th minute of play forced Hurez CSS's goalkeeper Vasile Murgoci to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Halmagel CSM fans' excitement grew in the 75th match minute when Halmagel CSM's Dorin Racoviță looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 82nd minute, Grigore Lepuș ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vasile Murgoci was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-3. Dorin Racoviță received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Vasile Murgoci tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Hurez CSS's zone, Grigore Lepuș stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vasile Murgoci came out of the goal and Grigore Lepuș tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 98 minutes, Grigore Lepuș made it 8-3 with a short kick to the right side. Hurez CSS's Vasile Murgoci tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When the referee ended the match the Halmagel CSM players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
