Spectators: 7370 (Terracing: 5629, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 15) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Augustin Moarcăș started the match with the kick off. In the 3rdth minute of the game Augustin Moarcăș who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Garnita's Mugurel Ostoici was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Garnita booed when FC Selimbar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Răzvan Minea didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 5th minute of the match Leontin Crăciunaș shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Luca Arseni showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. With his leg Mugurel Ostoici managed to avoid a goal in the 9thth minute, when FC Selimbar's Augustin Moarcăș fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Luca Arseni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ilie Tiberiu, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. FC Selimbar's Luca Arseni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgar Cluceru in the 12th minute of play. In the 13th minute, Nichifor Zamfira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luca Arseni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ilie Tiberiu in the 20th minute of play. In the 24th minute, Edgar Cluceru made a precise shot to the right of Luca Arseni. FC Selimbar's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. With an all-out effort, FC Selimbar's Mugurel Ostoici threw himself towards the right post 38 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Călin Șerbulea, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Garnita's Mugurel Ostoici played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Călin Șerbulea in the 43rd minute of play. After 43 played minutes Garnita got a freekick which was hit by Iustinian Giurchescu. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

In the 54th minute of the match Garnita got a corner. FC Selimbar's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Leontin Crăciunaș ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Garnita's corner Leontin Crăciunaș fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Luca Arseni quite easily take care of the ball. 59 minutes into the match, Augustin Moarcăș notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Garnita's Mugurel Ostoici. Mugurel Ostoici was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Călin Siniştean sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. FC Selimbar's Călin Geoană was substituted for Narcis Culcer. After a rather tough play, Garnita's Leontin Crăciunaș got a free kick in the 90th minute. The audience was convinced that Augustin Moarcăș's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mugurel Ostoici was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. Irinel Bologa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mugurel Ostoici having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. FC Selimbar had played much better football throughout.
