Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Vlad Cornoiu made the kick off and thus started the match. Remus Bot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vlad Cornoiu in the 9th minute of the match. Florin Grecu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 16 played minutes Dragosloveni got a freekick which was hit by Petru Dascălu. Sorin Calomfirescu was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 17th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 18th minute, Florin Grecu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vlad Cornoiu in the 20th minute of play forced Dragosloveni's goalkeeper Remus Bot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aurel Negrescu kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. In the 24th minute, Florin Grecu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FCSB fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 34th minute, Dragosloveni's Mihai Burnei dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Dragosloveni's Costică Onitiu got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When FCSB's Florin Grecu in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Dragosloveni's goalie prevented a goal. After 46 played minutes FCSB got a freekick which was hit by Gelu Runcu. Costică Onitiu struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Marius Sădeanu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dragosloveni.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mihai Burnei was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in FCSB's zone, Costică Onitiu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marius Sădeanu came out of the goal and Costică Onitiu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 54th minute, Mihai Burnei left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Dragosloveni fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. Petru Dascălu charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Petru Dascălu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Florin Grecu's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Remus Bot firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 61st minute, Mihai Burnei made a precise shot to the right of Marius Sădeanu. FCSB's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. Daniel Abraham hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Costică Onitiu scored 4-1 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marius Sădeanu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gică Gârneață's late challenge caught a Dragosloveni's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gică Gârneață helped the player get up and apologised. Gică Gârneață hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Marius Sădeanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Costică Onitiu in the 79th minute of the match. If Florin Grecu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Florin Grecu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 83rd minute of the match, but Remus Bot made a huge save. FCSB's Marius Sădeanu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Costică Onitiu in the 84th minute of play. In the 87th minute, Vlad Cornoiu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Remus Bot. The goal made the score 4-2. 91 minutes into the game, Gică Gârneață cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-3. Remus Bot was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Dragosloveni's Remus Bot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vlad Cornoiu in the 98th minute of play. FCSB's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
