The Ogesti FCM fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mihnea Brezeanu should have stopped the shot. After 27 played minutes Ogesti FCM got a freekick which was hit by Marian Zaharia. With his leg Mihnea Brezeanu managed to avoid a goal in the 28thth minute, when Giurgesti's Gică Necșulescu fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Mihnea Brezeanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robert Cupșa in the 31st minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Robert Cupșa in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mihnea Brezeanu saved Ogesti FCM from getting behind. Mihnea Brezeanu was a little too slow when Gică Necșulescu got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 35th minute. The score was now 4-0. Mihnea Brezeanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robert Cupșa, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute.
