If Vasile Manciu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 13th minute Vasile Manciu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sorin Borza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fabian Gologan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dinamo Falciu's Emilian Buga got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 30 minutes into the game, Corneliu Curăreanu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dinamo Falciu's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tagsorul the free kick. In the 30th minute, Corneliu Curăreanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 31 minutes into the match, Tagsorul's Mugurel Popa broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Emilian Buga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sorin Borza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vasile Manciu in the 43rd minute of play. Emilian Buga had several of the Tagsorul's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 49 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Remus Bran as he didn't even see the shot coming. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vasile Manciu was the one to do the kick off. With a little luck, Dinamo Falciu's Sorin Borza got control of the ball when Luca Maghiar tried to sneak it across the goal line. Emilian Buga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Remus Bran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Dinamo Falciu booed when Tagsorul was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sabin Urdoi didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 73rd minute Emilian Buga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Remus Bran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mihăiţă Ichim's late challenge caught a Tagsorul's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mihăiţă Ichim helped the player get up and apologised. Mihăiţă Ichim kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. After having played for 81 minutes, Emilian Buga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dinamo Falciu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emilian Buga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Emilian Buga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Remus Bran having to interfere. 86 minutes into the match, Tagsorul's goal looked a bit too open when Emilian Buga came free, but Remus Bran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sorin Borza made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luca Maghiar in the 91st minute. Mihăiţă Ichim hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Dinamo Falciu's Sorin Borza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vasile Manciu in the 94th minute of play. Luca Maghiar took the ball and in the 96 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sorin Borza. Sorin Borza dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
