Balarii UFC's Denis Cămătaru managed to work through Toria AFC's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Denis Cămătaru dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Nicodim Jilăveanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Ştefan Rădvan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Balarii UFC's goalkeeper Ştefan Rădvan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Balarii UFC's Moise Şumălan got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Balarii UFC booed when Toria AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicodim Jilăveanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Moise Şumălan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maxim Urducea having to interfere. Toria AFC's Maxim Urducea proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to save Toria AFC from getting a goal against them. Denis Cămătaru might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Maxim Urducea. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Denis Cămătaru ran back to his position shaking his head. Moise Şumălan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maxim Urducea having to interfere. Maxim Urducea stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Denis Cămătaru's shot from short distance in the 49th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nicodim Jilăveanu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Calistrat Boteanu kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Iustinian Maniu kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. In the 65th minute, Moise Şumălan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Toria AFC's Maxim Urducea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Moise Şumălan in the 71st minute of play. Denis Cămătaru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Maxim Urducea having to interfere. Maxim Urducea stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Denis Cămătaru's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. Balarii UFC's Ştefan Rădvan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicodim Jilăveanu in the 85th minute of play. Toria AFC's Nicodim Jilăveanu got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 89 minutes into the match, Toria AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Moise Şumălan came free, but Maxim Urducea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
