Alin Dridu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iordache Doroftei, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers George Eftimiu in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg David Mircescu saved Fc Barcelona from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Denis Serafo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Burnaz FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Denis Serafo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. David Mircescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fc Barcelona's David Mircescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by George Eftimiu in the 29th minute of play. A wasted opportunity for Burnaz FC. 43 minutes into the match, George Eftimiu notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Fc Barcelona's David Mircescu. David Mircescu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cosmin Domide got free with Alin Dridu in the 48th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Iordache Doroftei to make the kick off. With an extended leg and a bit of luck David Mircescu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Iordache Doroftei charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Iordache Doroftei the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 71st match minute, Fc Barcelona was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iordache Doroftei to maneuver through the defense.
