Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Iordache Doroftei started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 3rdth minute of the game Cosmin Domide who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FCSB's Valentin Necula was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 7th minute, Fc Barcelona's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Viorel Gavra fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. David Mircescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marian Nediu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 10th minute, Marian Gogea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 11 minutes into the match, Fc Barcelona's goalkeeper David Mircescu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Viorel Gavra. Through an outstanding action, after 18 minutes, David Mircescu successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. If Viorel Gavra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 22nd minute of the match Ionuț Bara shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but David Mircescu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Marian Nediu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. David Mircescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 29 minutes into the match, Marian Nediu dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of David Mircescu, 1-0. After having played for 35 minutes, Viorel Gavra managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FCSB's supporters crossed their fingers, but Viorel Gavra was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Viorel Gavra could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but David Mircescu made a huge save. In the 43rd minute of the match, Viorel Gavra got a very nice opportunity to score, but David Mircescu was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marian Nediu made a kick off. After 51 minutes of play, FCSB's Marian Nediu made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. David Mircescu was left in no man's land by his defense there! David Mircescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marian Nediu in the 56th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marian Nediu in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg David Mircescu saved Fc Barcelona from getting behind. Matei Jula kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Matei Jula's late challenge caught a Fc Barcelona's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Matei Jula helped the player get up and apologised. Cosmin Domide recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 65th match minute, FCSB was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ovidiu Vizitiu to maneuver through the defense. David Mircescu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marian Nediu's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. Cosmin Domide fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valentin Necula having to interfere. Ovidiu Vizitiu's late challenge caught a Fc Barcelona's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ovidiu Vizitiu helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to FCSB getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Ovidiu Vizitiu hit a great ball. Marian Nediu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 89th minute, Viorel Gavra got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 91st match minute, Fc Barcelona was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eusebiu Hojbota to maneuver through the defense. David Mircescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marian Nediu in the 92nd minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Fc Barcelona players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for FCSB.
