The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mihăiţă Săndoi to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Tonestii AC's zone, Olimpiu Vârșan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vali Băcila came out of the goal and Olimpiu Vârșan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Iustinian Giurgiu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Radu Corbuț, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 1-1 became the score in the 58th minute when Olimpiu Vârșan elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. With an all-out effort, Rahmaniparovanna's Vali Băcila threw himself towards the right post 87 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Olimpiu Vârșan, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Vali Băcila stood somewhat misplaced when Olimpiu Vârșan came free in front of goal and shot 1-2 to the left of him in the 92 minute.
