Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Edgar Ciupe kicked off to start the match. Emanuel Petculescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Petre Cândreanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When PowerSoccer's Emanuel Petculescu in the 8th minute got a chance for a shot 8th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Seciurile's goalie prevented a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 9th minute, Horia Huțanu managed to get in a good position for a shot. PowerSoccer's supporters rose to their feet, but Horia Huțanu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Petre Cândreanu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 11th match minute, Seciurile was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Horaţiu Vâlcu to maneuver through the defense. Flavius Bogatu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Vali Taşcă tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vali Taşcă made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgar Ciupe in the 17th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgar Ciupe in the 21st minute of play forced PowerSoccer's goalkeeper Vali Taşcă to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 21 played minutes PowerSoccer got a freekick which was hit by Cornel Opincaru. Cornel Opincaru's late challenge caught a Seciurile's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cornel Opincaru helped the player get up and apologised. Petre Cândreanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Horia Huțanu in the 26th minute of play. After 28 minutes, Petruț Lalescu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Seciurile and the PowerSoccer players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of PowerSoccer booed when Seciurile was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Petruț Lalescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Petre Cândreanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Horia Huțanu in the 29th minute of the match. Vali Taşcă showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgar Ciupe, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Emanuel Petculescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Horia Huțanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petre Cândreanu having to interfere. PowerSoccer's Emanuel Petculescu got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 47 minutes, Horia Huțanu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PowerSoccer's supporters crossed their fingers, but Horia Huțanu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Emanuel Petculescu was the one to do the kick off. A hard shot 53 in the game by Horia Huțanu from a close distance when the talented Petre Cândreanu managed to make a qualified save. Seciurile's players were relieved. PowerSoccer's Vali Taşcă played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgar Ciupe in the 60th minute of play. Flavius Bogatu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Horia Huțanu got free with Petre Cândreanu in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 66th match minute, PowerSoccer was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emanuel Petculescu to maneuver through the defense. During the 73rd minute of the match Cornel Opincaru completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Cornel Opincaru a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 74 played minutes PowerSoccer got a freekick which was hit by Cornel Opincaru. 78 minutes into the game, PowerSoccer's Emanuel Petculescu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Petre Cândreanu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Emanuel Petculescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Petre Cândreanu having to interfere. Seciurile's Petre Cândreanu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Seciurile from getting a goal against them. After 87 played minutes Seciurile got a freekick which was hit by Dan Gheondea. Eliodor Breazu, 88 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. With a little luck, Seciurile's Petre Cândreanu got control of the ball when Horia Huțanu tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Seciurile getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Octav Alamaru hit a great ball. If Ciprian Săvoiu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. PowerSoccer played a much better game than Seciurile and deserved their victory. The Seciurile players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
