Michel Varela came out and tried to block the shot, but Horea Silişteanu slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 90th minute. 94 minutes into the match, Saranga FC's Nistor Ştefănescu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Michel Varela narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Adam Enciulescu's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Michel Varela firmly grabbed it by the left post.
