Spectators: 6703 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1703, VIP seats: 0) Iacob Alb started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. When Dragoş Arseanu fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sumita's protests and gave Dragoş Arseanu a yellow card for diving instead. In the 7th minute, Dragoş Arseanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. John Sundström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iustin Săvoiu having to interfere. The Sumita fans' excitement grew in the 12th match minute when Sumita's Iacob Alb looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Gabriel Chibulcutean's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Augustin Geangu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 16th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Sumita's Gheorghe Mirciulescu got a free kick in the 19th minute. After 20 played minutes Sumita got a freekick which was hit by Dragoş Arseanu. Gabriel Chibulcutean received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Augustin Geangu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sumita's Gabriel Chibulcutean got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With his leg Iustin Săvoiu managed to avoid a goal in the 28thth minute, when Zarneni's Mihail Codreanu fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Gabriel Chibulcutean had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gabriel Chibulcutean might have been able to make a better finish in the 34th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Augustin Geangu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gabriel Chibulcutean ran back to his position shaking his head. Augustin Geangu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriel Chibulcutean in the 37th minute of play. Sumita's Iustin Săvoiu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Sumita from getting a goal against them. Doru Nicea kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Sumita's Dragoş Cucerzan couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 47th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Zarneni. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mihail Codreanu to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 56th minute, Mihail Codreanu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Iustin Săvoiu was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. When the match had gone on for 59 minutes, Gabriel Chibulcutean took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Augustin Geangu to make any attempt to save it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mihail Codreanu in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Iustin Săvoiu saved Sumita from getting behind. Gabriel Chibulcutean's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Augustin Geangu firmly grabbed it by the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gabriel Chibulcutean got free with Augustin Geangu in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Iustin Săvoiu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mihail Codreanu in the 77th minute of play. If Gabriel Chibulcutean had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sumita's Gabriel Chibulcutean got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mihail Codreanu took the ball and in the 88 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Iustin Săvoiu. Iustin Săvoiu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. After 93 played minutes Sumita got a freekick which was hit by Gheorghe Mirciulescu. Mihail Codreanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iustin Săvoiu having to interfere. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
