Augustin Geangu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Codruț Senin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mihail Codreanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 21st minute. Nechifor Doinaș tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Fc Arabesque -MM-'s Gheorghe Magherescu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Augustin Geangu. That made the score 2-0 after 27 minutes of play. The supporters of Fc Arabesque -MM- booed when Zarneni was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Roch Wallach didn't get a good kick on the ball. Augustin Geangu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gheorghe Magherescu in the 31st minute. In the 31st minute, Octavian Gherase hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Augustin Geangu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Codruț Senin's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. 60 minutes into the match, Zarneni's goal looked a bit too open when Gheorghe Magherescu came free, but Augustin Geangu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 61st minute, one of Zarneni:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Zarneni. 66 minutes into the match, Zarneni's goal looked a bit too open when Codruț Senin came free, but Augustin Geangu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 67 minutes had been played when some careless play by Zarneni's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Flavius Rainea was slow to take the kick. During this time Fc Arabesque -MM-'s players had a chance to rest. Fc Arabesque -MM-'s Flavius Rainea was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Augustin Geangu in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 71 minutes into the game, Roch Wallach was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Augustin Geangu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 85 minutes into the game, Codruț Senin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Augustin Geangu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Zarneni's Augustin Geangu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Codruț Senin in the 89th minute of play. Ziemowit Furgat kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. 95 minutes into the match, Zarneni's goal looked a bit too open when Gheorghe Magherescu came free, but Augustin Geangu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Augustin Geangu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gheorghe Magherescu in the 97th minute of the match. Zarneni's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
