After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Iustin Jder managed to get in a good position for a shot. F.C. INTER PETRILA's supporters rose to their feet, but Iustin Jder was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dacian Coidum breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in F.C. INTER PETRILA's zone, Valer Tăbăcaru stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vintilă Jumancă came out of the goal and Valer Tăbăcaru tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of 8 years of PS booed when F.C. INTER PETRILA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paul Amărculesei didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 18th minute, Fabian Hizo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Emil Vaida hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Dacian Coidum showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dumitru Paraschiv, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Vintilă Jumancă showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valer Tăbăcaru in the 29th minute of the match. 31 minutes into the match, Iustin Jder had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dacian Coidum. 8 years of PS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Iustin Jder was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Iustin Jder in the 33rd minute of play forced 8 years of PS's goalkeeper Dacian Coidum to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 40th minute, Iustin Jder made a precise shot to the right of Dacian Coidum. 8 years of PS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fabian Hizo made a kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabian Hizo in the 52nd minute of play forced F.C. INTER PETRILA's goalkeeper Vintilă Jumancă to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 54th minute, Alin Jugănaru made a precise shot to the right of Vintilă Jumancă. F.C. INTER PETRILA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-3. In the 57th minute Valer Tăbăcaru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vintilă Jumancă saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dacian Coidum came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by F.C. INTER PETRILA's Iustin Jder. But to his dismay, Iustin Jder quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-4. The audience thought a goal was coming when Iustin Jder got free with Dacian Coidum in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dacian Coidum showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dumitru Paraschiv, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. The supporters of 8 years of PS booed when F.C. INTER PETRILA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robert Angelescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. 74 minutes into the game, 8 years of PS's Fabian Hizo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vintilă Jumancă made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-4. In the 78th minute, Alin Jugănaru ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vintilă Jumancă was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-4. Fabian Hizo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 84 minutes into the game, Silviu Belu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-4. Vintilă Jumancă was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Vintilă Jumancă took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valer Tăbăcaru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to 8 years of PS getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Adam Dragomiroiu hit a great ball. 8 years of PS walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
