Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Costel Stănoiu took the kick off in the first half of the match. Basarab Baldovin charged in rather forcefully in the 3rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Basarab Baldovin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 3 played minutes Uileacu got a freekick which was hit by Basarab Baldovin. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Narcis Logofătu in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ionel Receanu saved Uileacu from getting behind. After some careless play in the Uileacu defense, Narcis Logofătu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ionel Receanu. The Uileacu fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ionel Receanu should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Comuna Botosani booed when Uileacu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Petru Ivan didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Comuna Botosani's Narcis Logofătu in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Uileacu's goalie prevented a goal. If Narcis Logofătu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Costel Stănoiu in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ionel Receanu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 35th minute, Marian Ciulei ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nicodim Rădoi was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. If Narcis Logofătu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 43 minutes of play, Comuna Botosani's Narcis Logofătu made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ionel Receanu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Narcis Logofătu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Șerban Nițisor was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd match minute, Uileacu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marian Ciulei to maneuver through the defense. If Costel Stănoiu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Comuna Botosani fans' excitement grew in the 59th match minute when Comuna Botosani's Narcis Logofătu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Comuna Botosani's Costel Stănoiu got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Isac Baciu hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. 76 minutes into the match, Vali Toacsen had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ionel Receanu. Uileacu's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vali Toacsen was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4. In the 84th minute Șerban Nițisor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicodim Rădoi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Petruț Graur during the 89th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Uileacu's Petruț Graur got a free kick in the 89th minute. 92 minutes into the match, Uileacu's goalkeeper Ionel Receanu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Narcis Logofătu.
