Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Francisc Bleoancă kicked off to start the match. Manuel Caramitru didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eric Feraru went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Through a series of nice moves, AllStars's Francisc Bleoancă on his own came free in the 10th minute of the match and shot 1-1 behind a disappointed Nicodim Rădoi. Costel Stănoiu scored 1-2 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Manuel Caramitru, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 19 minutes into the game, Eric Feraru cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Manuel Caramitru was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 25th minute, Narcis Logofătu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Manuel Caramitru was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. Manuel Caramitru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vali Toacsen in the 30th minute of play. 32 minutes into the match, AllStars's goal looked a bit too open when Narcis Logofătu came free, but Manuel Caramitru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 33rd minute, Grigore Abutnăriței hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Narcis Logofătu came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Comuna Botosani fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Narcis Logofătu couldn't finish the play. Manuel Caramitru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Costel Stănoiu in the 35th minute of the match. Manuel Caramitru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Narcis Logofătu, who was totally free with the ball in the 38th minute. 41 minutes into the game, one of Comuna Botosani:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 47th minute Vali Toacsen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Caramitru saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 48th minute, Francisc Bleoancă fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Disappointed in the 2-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Costel Stănoiu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Narcis Logofătu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Manuel Caramitru made a huge save. If Ilie Tilincă had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of AllStars booed when Comuna Botosani was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vali Toacsen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vali Toacsen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Manuel Caramitru made a huge save. 74 minutes into the match, AllStars's goalkeeper Manuel Caramitru had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Narcis Logofătu. Francisc Bleoancă fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nicodim Rădoi having to interfere. After a rather tough play, AllStars's Grigore Abutnăriței got a free kick in the 76th minute. Manuel Caramitru made an important save on a dangerous shot by Narcis Logofătu in the 77th minute. If Francisc Bleoancă had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 82 minutes into the match, AllStars's goalkeeper Manuel Caramitru had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Vali Toacsen. AllStars's Manuel Caramitru proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save AllStars from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, AllStars's Manuel Caramitru got control of the ball when Emilian Stelian tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 89th minute, Narcis Logofătu sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and AllStars's Manuel Caramitru didn't even have to move. The AllStars fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Comuna Botosani were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
