Spectators: 6723 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 0) Iulian Manciu made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 4th minute Narcis Tomoiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pavel Marin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pavel Marin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dinu Luțu, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. In the 10th minute Narcis Tomoiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pavel Marin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Olimpiu Pivniceru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eduard Turdeanu having to interfere. In the 13th match minute, Filiasi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Augustin Baldazar to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Iuda AFC's zone, Dinu Luțu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pavel Marin came out of the goal and Dinu Luțu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eusebiu Adam during the 16th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 18 played minutes, Filiasi's Dorin Fecioru shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Pavel Marin came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Filiasi reached it. After a defensive mix-up in Iuda AFC's zone, Dinu Luțu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pavel Marin came out of the goal and Dinu Luțu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eduard Turdeanu came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Iuda AFC's Olimpiu Pivniceru. But to his dismay, Olimpiu Pivniceru quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. In the 40th minute, Eusebiu Adam got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Narcis Tomoiu to make the kick off. With his leg Pavel Marin managed to avoid a goal in the 58thth minute, when Filiasi's Dinu Luțu fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The supporters of Iuda AFC booed when Filiasi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcu Corbu didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard and well directed shot from Manole Dominte led 64 minutes into the game to a goal after the ball had bounced deceptively just in front of the goal. Filiasi's Eduard Turdeanu became a little unsure and couldn't grip the ball before it was over the goalline. Thus it was 3-1. In the 66th minute, Sergiu Buș hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Iulian Manciu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eduard Turdeanu having to make a save. Dinu Luțu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Pavel Marin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pavel Marin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Narcis Tomoiu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Narcis Tomoiu struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Pavel Marin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Filiasi. Pavel Marin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Narcis Tomoiu in the 89th minute of play. Iuda AFC's Pavel Marin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Narcis Tomoiu in the 91st minute of play.
