Mugur Brumaru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee ignored Comlod SC's protests and gave Aurel Anton a yellow card for diving instead. Aurel Anton hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. In the 19th minute, Dinu Drăghincescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Comlod SC's zone, Gabriel Carabulea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. David Dănilă came out of the goal and Gabriel Carabulea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 28 minutes into the match, Mircovat's goal looked a bit too open when Mugur Brumaru came free, but Maxim Răducanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Mircovat's Adrian Panaitescu got a free kick in the 28th minute. David Dănilă took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adrian Panaitescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aurel Anton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Maxim Răducanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mircovat's supporters rose to their feet, but Gabriel Carabulea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. David Dănilă breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gabriel Carabulea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Dănilă having to interfere. Adrian Panaitescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Comlod SC's David Dănilă played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriel Carabulea in the 75th minute of play. 84 minutes into the game, Mugur Brumaru lined in a short shot 1-1 behind a frustrated Maxim Răducanu. Aurel Anton was extremely unlucky when he, in the 95th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
