Spectators: 7284 (Terracing: 5574, Seating: 1709, VIP seats: 1) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Grigore Fetanu started the match with the kick off. Codruț Sălcudeanu was a little too slow when Aron Lupoaia got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 4th minute. The score was now 1-0. Claudinho Marques showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gică Boieraș, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Codruț Sălcudeanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Albert Ronaldo, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. In the 13th minute George Barbălată shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudinho Marques saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Tirioi's Gică Boieraș got a free kick in the 18th minute. Grigore Fetanu's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Codruț Sălcudeanu firmly grabbed it by the left post. Albert Ronaldo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Codruț Sălcudeanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 26th minute Gică Boieraș shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Claudinho Marques saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 29th minute, Grigore Fetanu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Erdodubiste UFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Grigore Fetanu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Codruț Sălcudeanu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 30th minute, Erdodubiste UFC's Albert Ronaldo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Claudinho Marques made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from George Barbălată in the 34th minute of play. Aron Lupoaia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Albert Ronaldo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Codruț Sălcudeanu made a huge save. Vasile Comișel hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Aron Lupoaia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Codruț Sălcudeanu having to interfere. Claudinho Marques showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gică Boieraș, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and George Barbălată made a kick off. Erdodubiste UFC's Aron Lupoaia got a good chance for a goal in the 51st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Aron Lupoaia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Aron Lupoaia came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Erdodubiste UFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aron Lupoaia couldn't finish the play. Codruț Sălcudeanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andrei Bota in the 59th minute of the match. Codruț Sălcudeanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Grigore Fetanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 68th minute of the match Paul Zamfirescu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Claudinho Marques showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. When Albert Ronaldo came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Erdodubiste UFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Albert Ronaldo couldn't finish the play. Ionel Nicolcioiu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Codruț Sălcudeanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Claudinho Marques showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from George Barbălată, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Aron Lupoaia got his second yellow card in the match during the 83rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of Tirioi booed when Erdodubiste UFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aron Lupoaia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gică Boieraș could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Claudinho Marques made a huge save. When Erdodubiste UFC's Albert Ronaldo in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tirioi's goalie prevented a goal. If George Barbălată had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Tirioi's zone, Grigore Fetanu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Codruț Sălcudeanu came out of the goal and Grigore Fetanu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee ended the match the Erdodubiste UFC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
