Fabian Barboni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Slavko Roža in the 3rd minute of play. Ivan Ştirbu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sever Neața having to interfere. Varfu's defense didn't have a chance, in the 7th minute, when Slavko Roža scored to the left of an out of position Fabian Barboni, making the score, 1-0. Fabian Barboni made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Mihăiţă Dragotescu sent off a good shot on target. Fabian Barboni didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Slavko Roža went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. The supporters of Ghimpoaia booed when Varfu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anton Gheban didn't get a good kick on the ball. Slavko Roža's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 17thth minute, Fabian Barboni skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Slavko Roža kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Fabian Barboni.
