In the 3rd minute Fabian Radu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Juanjo Pasos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 4 minutes into the match, A.C. Milan Iasi's goal looked a bit too open when Pontus Forsberg came free, but Hagen Patzelt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hagen Patzelt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kamen Benkovski in the 6th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Constantin Onciu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hagen Patzelt was relentless in the 8th minute of the game. Egresto SC were awarded a corner in the 9th minute after A.C. Milan Iasi's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Constantin Onciu took the corner. In the 29th minute, Sabin Răduleț hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The throw-in from Victorino Honesto in the 32nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by A.C. Milan Iasi's Sandu Ibrișin. Hagen Patzelt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Constantin Onciu in the 40th minute of play. In the 44th minute, Ionel Unchiaşu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A.C. Milan Iasi's Hagen Patzelt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kamen Benkovski in the 46th minute of play. Hagen Patzelt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ionel Dănciulescu in the 47th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Fabian Radu made a kick off. A collision led to A.C. Milan Iasi getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Sandu Ibrișin hit a great ball. In the 58th minute, Basarab Ogășanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 61st minute of the game Jonathan Hildre made a throw-in which Constantin Onciu played forward. In the 62nd minute, Constantin Onciu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Egresto SC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. A.C. Milan Iasi's Hagen Patzelt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kamen Benkovski in the 64th minute of play. In the 66th minute Constantin Onciu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hagen Patzelt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hagen Patzelt didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ionel Dănciulescu went, in the 70th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. A collision led to A.C. Milan Iasi getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Olaf Kojder hit a great ball. Ionel Dănciulescu took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hagen Patzelt. Hagen Patzelt dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. In the 85th minute Pontus Forsberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hagen Patzelt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 87 minutes into the game, Egresto SC's Constantin Onciu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hagen Patzelt made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. In the 93rd minute, Constantin Onciu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Egresto SC fully deserved thier win.
