Spectators: 6575 (Terracing: 5575, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Nichifor Cartiș started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Rocar's Isac Voinea got a free kick in the 3rd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marcel Zărnescu in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Victor Marinescu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Isac Voinea's late challenge caught a CSM ROMAN's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Isac Voinea helped the player get up and apologised. In the 13th minute, Isac Voinea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aurel Urdea was extremely unlucky when he, in the 17th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Nichifor Cartiș sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 23rd minute, Martin Neața made a precise shot to the right of Victor Marinescu. CSM ROMAN's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. CSM ROMAN's Nichifor Cartiș came free and shot a quick shot against goal 26 minutes in the game, fortunately Felix Ciupe had problems saving as it came toward the left post. In the 31st minute, Marcel Zărnescu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Victor Marinescu was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. In the 35th minute, Horia Țepeneag left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rocar fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. 38 minutes into the match, Rocar's goal looked a bit too open when Aurel Urdea came free, but Felix Ciupe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 39th minute, CSM ROMAN's Aurel Urdea dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-3. Felix Ciupe stood somewhat misplaced when Nichifor Cartiș came free in front of goal and shot 3-3 to the left of him in the 42 minute. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Martin Neața to make the kick off. Cezar Apostolescu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 52nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Victor Marinescu. CSM ROMAN's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. When CSM ROMAN's Aurel Urdea in the 56th minute got a chance for a shot 56th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Rocar's goalie prevented a goal. Felix Ciupe made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-3. CSM ROMAN's Nichifor Cartiș got a good chance for a goal in the 75th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The CSM ROMAN fans' excitement grew in the 76th match minute when CSM ROMAN's Aurel Urdea looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The audience was convinced that Nichifor Cartiș's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Felix Ciupe was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. Victor Marinescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Martin Neața, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The CSM ROMAN fans' excitement grew in the 81st match minute when CSM ROMAN's Nichifor Cartiș looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Victor Marinescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Neața, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nichifor Cartiș in the 87th minute a chance for a shot on goal. Rocar's Felix Ciupe played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nichifor Cartiș in the 88th minute of play. After 89 minutes of play Rocar's Isac Voinea was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Isac Voinea kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. Nichifor Cartiș might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Felix Ciupe. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nichifor Cartiș ran back to his position shaking his head. Felix Ciupe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nichifor Cartiș, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nichifor Cartiș in the 94th minute of play forced Rocar's goalkeeper Felix Ciupe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
