Spectators: 7356 (Terracing: 5518, Seating: 1691, VIP seats: 147) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Manuel Calomfirescu got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd minute Emil Moisil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cezar Pintilescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ion Leahu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Ferdinand Eremia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 8 minutes into the match, Chereusa's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Calomfirescu came free, but Cezar Pintilescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 10 minutes into the match, Emil Moisil had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cezar Pintilescu. Chereusa's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Emil Moisil was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. In the 13th minute Emil Moisil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cezar Pintilescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 15th minute, Emil Moisil ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cezar Pintilescu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After 20 minutes, Sandu Siclovan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Maguricea UFC and the Chereusa players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 20th minute, Sandu Siclovan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 23 minutes into the match, Chereusa's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Calomfirescu came free, but Cezar Pintilescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 24th minute Manuel Calomfirescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cezar Pintilescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cezar Pintilescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emil Moisil in the 26th minute of play. Manuel Calomfirescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 36 minutes into the match, Emil Moisil notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of Chereusa's Cezar Pintilescu. Cezar Pintilescu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 39 minutes into the match, Chereusa's Ion Leahu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ferdinand Eremia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Gabriel Gane fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ferdinand Eremia having to interfere. In the 43rd minute Ion Leahu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ferdinand Eremia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mădălin Dordea during the 44th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Maguricea UFC's Mădălin Dordea got a free kick in the 44th minute. Iulian Siteavu kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Ferdinand Eremia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabriel Gane in the 51st minute of the match. If Ion Leahu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 59 played minutes Chereusa got a freekick which was hit by Mugur Merișor. If Gabriel Gane had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristi Goicea took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 64th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Cezar Pintilescu. Chereusa's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Iacob Maniu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Chereusa's Iulian Siteavu got a free kick in the 67th minute. Cezar Pintilescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manuel Calomfirescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. In the 75th minute Manuel Calomfirescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cezar Pintilescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Chereusa's Cezar Pintilescu got control of the ball when Emil Moisil tried to sneak it across the goal line. 80 minutes into the match, Chereusa's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Calomfirescu came free, but Cezar Pintilescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 0-5 became the score in the 83rd minute when Manuel Calomfirescu elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Ion Leahu struck a weak shot in the 87th minute. Ferdinand Eremia didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chereusa. After having played for 89 minutes, Ion Leahu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chereusa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ion Leahu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Maguricea UFC's zone, Gabriel Gane stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ferdinand Eremia came out of the goal and Gabriel Gane tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gabriel Gane recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Maguricea UFC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Maguricea UFC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
