Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gabriel Gane kicked off to start the match. Nae Urdeş received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Eliodor Tache tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Metofu SC's Lucrețiu Nițescu got a free kick in the 8th minute. In the 11th match minute, Metofu SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sergiu Ilie to maneuver through the defense. Eliodor Tache showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ion Leahu, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Adrian Deleanu kicked well hit freekick during the 13th minute of the match. Ferdinand Cocea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 17th minute Sergiu Ilie shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cezar Pintilescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 18th minute of the match, Ferdinand Cocea got a very nice opportunity to score, but Cezar Pintilescu was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Cezar Pintilescu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ferdinand Cocea went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Denis Isbășoiu hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Ion Leahu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Eliodor Tache tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 32 minutes into the match, Chereusa's goalkeeper Cezar Pintilescu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ferdinand Cocea. After 32 played minutes Chereusa got a freekick which was hit by Ion Leahu. After a rather tough play, Chereusa's David Tatu got a free kick in the 44th minute. Eduard Ghimpu, 44 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sergiu Ilie to make the kick off. Metofu SC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Eduard Ghimpu in the 57th minute. 59 minutes into the match, Metofu SC's Ferdinand Cocea sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cezar Pintilescu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cezar Pintilescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sergiu Ilie in the 60th minute of the match. In the 61st match minute, Chereusa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ion Leahu to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Metofu SC getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Denis Isbășoiu hit a great ball. Cezar Pintilescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucrețiu Nițescu in the 75th minute of play. 77 minutes into the game, Metofu SC's Ferdinand Cocea nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cezar Pintilescu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Cezar Pintilescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sergiu Ilie, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cezar Pintilescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucrețiu Nițescu in the 81st minute of the match. If Ion Leahu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 84 minutes into the game, Ferdinand Cocea cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Cezar Pintilescu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Cezar Pintilescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sergiu Ilie, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. In the 90th minute Ferdinand Cocea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cezar Pintilescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 92 minutes into the match, Chereusa's goal looked a bit too open when Ferdinand Cocea came free, but Cezar Pintilescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cezar Pintilescu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sergiu Ilie went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Iulian Siteavu hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. Eduard Ghimpu took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 97th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Cezar Pintilescu. Chereusa's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Metofu SC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
