Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Moise Luican started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 6 minutes into the match, Marcu Brezeanu notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Rimetea FCM's Nechifor Prislop. Nechifor Prislop was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Nechifor Prislop stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Marcu Brezeanu's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. Viitorul Vaslui's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Aron Epure in the 14th minute. After taking down the ball on Viitorul Vaslui's corner Aron Epure fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Nechifor Prislop quite easily take care of the ball. If Răzvan Onete had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 23rd minute, Lucrețiu Teişanu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nechifor Prislop was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Rimetea FCM were furious when Iulian Brădean was red carded, 28 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 27th minute of the game. One of Rimetea FCM:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Viitorul Vaslui:s goal. Lucrețiu Teişanu kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. After 35 minutes, Codruț Hârtopanu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rimetea FCM and the Viitorul Vaslui players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 45th minute, Codruț Hârtopanu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Niculae Lupulescu. The goal made the score 1-3.

The wind increased when Ionel Sârbu made the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Rimetea FCM's Nechifor Prislop got control of the ball when Denis Căliman tried to sneak it across the goal line. Nechifor Prislop showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucrețiu Teişanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Denis Căliman kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Nechifor Prislop. That made the score 1-4 in the 61 minute of play. Olimpiu Paraschiv received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Niculae Lupulescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nechifor Prislop made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marcu Brezeanu in the 67th minute. Nechifor Prislop took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Moise Luican, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rimetea FCM's Nechifor Prislop proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Rimetea FCM from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Rimetea FCM booed when Viitorul Vaslui was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Moise Luican didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rimetea FCM's Nechifor Prislop played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Moise Luican in the 81st minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marcu Brezeanu got free with Nechifor Prislop in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When the match was over Viitorul Vaslui could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Rimetea FCM throughout the match.
