Spectators: 6723 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 0) Viitorul Vaslui's Moise Luican started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The referee gave Dalnic a penalty, 6 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Dorel Dănescu, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Viitorul Vaslui's Niculae Lupulescu. 1-0. Marcu Brezeanu kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. 17 minutes into the match, Viitorul Vaslui's goal looked a bit too open when Claudiu Ghiurutan came free, but Niculae Lupulescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 30th minute, Toader Antonescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcu Brezeanu in the 32nd minute of play forced Dalnic's goalkeeper Viorel Gugulanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 32nd minute, Marcu Brezeanu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Viorel Gugulanu was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Denis Căliman hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. In the 48th minute of the match, Claudiu Ghiurutan got a very nice opportunity to score, but Niculae Lupulescu was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Claudiu Ghiurutan was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Claudiu Ghiurutan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Niculae Lupulescu was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edgar Onișoru in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Niculae Lupulescu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 66 minutes of play, Dalnic's Petre Duca made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Niculae Lupulescu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Edgar Onișoru scored 5-1 in the 74th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Niculae Lupulescu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Dalnic's Nicolae Ştefănescu got a free kick in the 78th minute. After 84 minutes, Claudiu Ghiurutan made it 6-1 with a short kick to the right side. Viitorul Vaslui's Niculae Lupulescu tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Dalnic booed when Viitorul Vaslui was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lucrețiu Teişanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Niculae Lupulescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edgar Onișoru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 93 minutes into the match, Viitorul Vaslui's goal looked a bit too open when Claudiu Ghiurutan came free, but Niculae Lupulescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 94 minutes of play, Dalnic's Claudiu Ghiurutan made it 7-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Niculae Lupulescu was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the referee ended the match the Dalnic players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
