Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Codruț Cimpoieru made the kick off which started today's match. Damian Bîlbă received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Dan Ghiorman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tudor Petrin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eugen Șişman went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After 8 played minutes Biharia CF got a freekick which was hit by Damian Bîlbă. When Eugen Șişman came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Fundenii CF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eugen Șişman couldn't finish the play. Tudor Petrin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alin Pârvuță, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Alin Pârvuță had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match clock showed 17 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Alin Pârvuță sped through Biharia CF's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tudor Petrin. Tudor Petrin didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alin Pârvuță went, in the 22nd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. Alin Pârvuță's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tudor Petrin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. Alex Bogrea kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. If Codruț Cimpoieru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tudor Petrin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eugen Șişman's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. 38 minutes into the match, Leontin Albu notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Fundenii CF's Dan Ghiorman. Dan Ghiorman was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A sloppy throw-in by Lucrețiu Dimofte in the 41st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Fundenii CF's Grigore Cotoi.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alin Pârvuță was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Fundenii CF booed when Biharia CF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Costin Gliga didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Biharia CF's zone, Alin Pârvuță stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tudor Petrin came out of the goal and Alin Pârvuță tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Alin Pârvuță, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 64 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Tudor Petrin was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Dan Ghiorman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Codruț Cimpoieru, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. Fundenii CF's Dan Ghiorman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Codruț Cimpoieru in the 78th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Fundenii CF's zone, Leontin Albu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dan Ghiorman came out of the goal and Leontin Albu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 91st minute, Leontin Albu made a precise shot to the right of Dan Ghiorman. Fundenii CF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-3. When Codruț Cimpoieru came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Biharia CF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Codruț Cimpoieru couldn't finish the play. The Fundenii CF players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Biharia CF from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
