Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Corneliu Gabrea took the kick off in the first half of the match. 5 minutes into the game, Corneliu Gabrea cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Costin Martinescu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 10th minute, Mihail Oneț got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 11th minute of the match, Doru Bărbătescu tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Vali Potoroacă saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 13th match minute, Utsahazu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robert Iordache to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 21 minutes, Emil Petruț managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tantarea's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emil Petruț was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Corneliu Gabrea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vali Potoroacă made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Doru Bărbătescu in the 26th minute of play. Vali Potoroacă made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Doru Bărbătescu sent off a good shot on target. Vali Potoroacă took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Doru Bărbătescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Andrei Joldea's late challenge caught a Tantarea's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Andrei Joldea helped the player get up and apologised. After 45 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Utsahazu! Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 52nd minute, Emil Petruț fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Costin Martinescu, passed just outside the right post. Mihnea Lucrețiu kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. If Emil Petruț had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 62 minutes into the match, Robert Iordache notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Tantarea's Vali Potoroacă. Vali Potoroacă was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Robert Iordache recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Tantarea getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Maxim Grama hit a great ball. In the 71st minute of the match Andrei Joldea shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vali Potoroacă showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 75 minutes into the match, Tantarea's goal looked a bit too open when Mihail Oneț came free, but Vali Potoroacă reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Tantarea defense, Doru Bărbătescu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vali Potoroacă. The Tantarea fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vali Potoroacă should have stopped the shot. Corneliu Gabrea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Costin Martinescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mihail Oneț sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 94 minutes, Doru Bărbătescu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Utsahazu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Doru Bărbătescu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
