Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Gelmar's Eric Zbârnea started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Emanuel Jecu kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Iustinian Hidiș's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Iulian Oprea read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. In the 14th minute, Eric Zbârnea made a precise shot to the right of Iulian Oprea. Sepsiszentgyörgy's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tiberiu Agusoaei in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mihnea Tincu saved Gelmar from getting behind. Eric Zbârnea fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iulian Oprea having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Gelmar's zone, Eduard Stroescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mihnea Tincu came out of the goal and Eduard Stroescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 30 minutes, Doru Ozon managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sepsiszentgyörgy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Doru Ozon was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 32nd minute, Emanuel Jecu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sepsiszentgyörgy's Iulian Oprea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iustinian Hidiș in the 43rd minute of play. In the 44th minute, Emanuel Jecu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gelmar fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eduard Stroescu made a kick off. Iulian Oprea had great luck who in the 53rdth minute grab hold of the ball when Eric Zbârnea from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Mihnea Tincu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tiberiu Agusoaei, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eduard Stroescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mihnea Tincu having to interfere. Sepsiszentgyörgy's Tiberiu Agusoaei managed to work through Gelmar's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Tiberiu Agusoaei dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Eduard Stroescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Mihnea Tincu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 72nd minute Eduard Stroescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mihnea Tincu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Iustinian Hidiș got free with Iulian Oprea in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mihnea Tincu came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Sepsiszentgyörgy's Tiberiu Agusoaei. But to his dismay, Tiberiu Agusoaei quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-6. 96 minutes into the match, Gelmar's goal looked a bit too open when Tiberiu Agusoaei came free, but Mihnea Tincu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gelmar's Isac Bălanescu shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 98th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Iulian Oprea but with some difficulty. The Sepsiszentgyörgy supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Gelmar's performance. The match ended with a win for Gelmar.
