With a little luck, F.C Rapid Bucuresti's Eugen Apostolescu got control of the ball when Denis Lungu tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 93 played minutes Chiriac got a freekick which was hit by Leontin Gâlcă. 95 minutes into the game, Sergiu Dominte recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Eugen Apostolescu. Sergiu Dominte showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-2. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
