The audience thought a goal was coming when Ovidiu Necșulescu got free with Pavel Buș in the 12th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ilie Verzeanu during the 13th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Fc. Sin getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Ilie Verzeanu hit a great ball. Marcu Cozaru recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pavel Buș made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Marcu Cozaru sent off a good shot on target. 21 minutes into the match, Ovidiu Necșulescu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Pavel Buș. Chiojdeni's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ovidiu Necșulescu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Octavian Dridu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marcu Cozaru to strike the kick off in the second half. If Octavian Dridu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Octavian Dridu scored 1-1 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Virgil Morozan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 60thth minute of the game Marcu Cozaru who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chiojdeni's Pavel Buș was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nicodim Niculcea got free with Virgil Morozan in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Virgil Morozan made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Octavian Dridu sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Fc. Sin's zone, Octavian Dridu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Virgil Morozan came out of the goal and Octavian Dridu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Petrică Busuioc kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Damian Sitaru sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Virgil Morozan made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Octavian Dridu sent off a good shot on target. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Chiojdeni eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
