But to his dismay, Valeriu Angheluță quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Emanuel Uncheşu kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Valeriu Angheluță in the 28thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Iustinian Buhăescu, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Eduard Moculescu kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Vincentas Arvazas got free with Iustinian Buhăescu in the 31st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Minerul Baia Mare FC's Iustinian Buhăescu got control of the ball when Augustin Zgrăbunţa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Iustinian Buhăescu acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 42nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Dragoş Otețea. In the 43rd minute, Ghindaresti's Valeriu Angheluță dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Manuel Dascălu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ghindaresti's Camilo Del Cid was substituted for George Vancea. Ghindaresti's supporters rose to their feet, but Valeriu Angheluță was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Iustinian Buhăescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 91st minute of the match, Emanuel Uncheşu got a very nice opportunity to score, but Basarab Apetroaiei was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 93rd minute of the match, Manuel Dascălu tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Basarab Apetroaiei saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The Ghindaresti support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
