The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Valer Oros during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, UFC Fenyed's Valer Oros got a free kick in the 9th minute. In the 10th minute of the match Eduard Chificeac shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Laerte da Silva showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The supporters of UFC Fenyed booed when Toplita was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eduard Chificeac didn't get a good kick on the ball. Laerte da Silva made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vintilă Măgherușan in the 28th minute of play. In the 30th minute, Valer Oros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vintilă Măgherușan to strike the kick off in the second half. A hard shot 66 in the game by Emilian Dragoș from a close distance when the talented Laerte da Silva managed to make a qualified save. UFC Fenyed's players were relieved. Silviu Andronache received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Gigi Stoicănescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. UFC Fenyed's Laerte da Silva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vintilă Măgherușan in the 72nd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Vintilă Măgherușan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Laerte da Silva was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. When Valer Oros was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 80 minutes had been played. A collision led to Toplita getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Marius Feraru hit a great ball. Toplita's Gigi Stoicănescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silviu Andronache in the 86th minute of play. In the 87th minute of the match UFC Fenyed got a corner. Toplita's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Vintilă Balțoi ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Vintilă Balțoi got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Gigi Stoicănescu quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. A hard shot by Codruț Gugea from long distance, 90 minutes into the match, got Laerte da Silva's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Silviu Andronache managed to get in a good position for a shot. UFC Fenyed's supporters rose to their feet, but Silviu Andronache was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gigi Stoicănescu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. UFC Fenyed were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Toplita for a fine match.
