With a left leg Florin Pumnu saved Radutesti from getting behind. Florin Pumnu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ciprian Siclovan's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. In the 38th minute, Eugen Zbanţ left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Varzari fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. In the 46th minute, Rareș Drăghincescu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Florin Pumnu was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Aurelian Eftimescu to strike the kick off in the second half. After 55 minutes, Iacob Ciuhandu mouthed his way into the referee's book. Eugen Zbanţ sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Eugen Zbanţ had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Ciprian Siclovan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Florin Pumnu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Varzari left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Radutesti.
