Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Irinel Mălaimare started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After a defensive mix-up in Cuzaplacu's zone, Irinel Mălaimare stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Narcis Tripon came out of the goal and Irinel Mălaimare tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Irinel Mălaimare sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Narcis Tripon came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Chiliseni FC's Petrică Baran. But to his dismay, Petrică Baran quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Irinel Mălaimare fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Narcis Tripon having to interfere. In the 27th match minute, Cuzaplacu was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maxim Ciulei to maneuver through the defense. 31 minutes into the match, Chiliseni FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gigel Tomozei came free, but Sandu Grama reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Chiliseni FC's Gigi Grama got a free kick in the 31st minute. Anton Slătineanu kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Cuzaplacu's Claudiu Secoşan tried to score from far away in the 34th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Sandu Grama made an important save on a dangerous shot by Valeriu Elenescu in the 36th minute. After a rather tough play, Chiliseni FC's Anton Slătineanu got a free kick in the 40th minute. Cuzaplacu's Claudiu Secoşan couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 40th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Chiliseni FC. 43 minutes into the match, Petrică Baran had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Narcis Tripon. Cuzaplacu's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Petrică Baran was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Sandu Grama made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gigel Tomozei in the 47th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gigel Tomozei was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute Valeriu Elenescu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sandu Grama saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Valeriu Elenescu took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sandu Grama. Sandu Grama dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Sandu Grama showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valeriu Elenescu in the 60th minute of the match. When Irinel Mălaimare came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Chiliseni FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Irinel Mălaimare couldn't finish the play. Gigel Tomozei received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Sandu Grama tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cuzaplacu's supporters rose to their feet, but Valeriu Elenescu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sandu Grama breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Gigel Tomozei's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sandu Grama was relentless in the 91st minute of the game. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Chiliseni FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
