Mihăiţă Drăucean made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mugurel Găman in the 18th minute of play. After having played for 20 minutes, Cătălin Stoleru managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Nehoiasi UFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cătălin Stoleru was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 22nd minute, Ovidiu Bușcu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A sloppy throw-in by Denis Măcrineanu in the 27th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Mailat's Nichifor Rotariu. Vali Apetroaiei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nichifor Rotariu in the 27th minute of play. If Ionuț Opincaru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mailat's Mihăiţă Drăucean played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cătălin Stoleru in the 31st minute of play. In the 34th minute the ball was on its way in behind Nehoiasi UFC's goalkeeper Vali Apetroaiei, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mihăiţă Drăucean made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mugurel Găman in the 36th minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, Mailat's goal looked a bit too open when Cătălin Stoleru came free, but Mihăiţă Drăucean reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mugurel Găman stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Nehoiasi UFC's Fabian Vâlcu got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Ovidiu Bușcu struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Vali Apetroaiei didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mailat. When the match had gone on for 57 minutes, Petrică Elenescu put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Mihăiţă Drăucean. After some careless play in the Mailat defense, Petrică Elenescu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mihăiţă Drăucean. The Mailat fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mihăiţă Drăucean should have stopped the shot. In the 64th match minute, Nehoiasi UFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Grigore Alexandrescu to maneuver through the defense. In the 67th minute Cătălin Stoleru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mihăiţă Drăucean saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fabian Vâlcu's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Mihăiţă Drăucean firmly grabbed it by the left post. The Mailat fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Nehoiasi UFC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
