Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Gică Mălaimare made the kick off which started today's match. Gisteni's defense didn't have a chance, in the 3rd minute, when Moise Cârstoiu scored to the left of an out of position Virgil Piersic, making the score, 1-0. Laurențiu Codin kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 9th minute of the game. One of Gisteni:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Gyepes CS:s goal. Moise Cârstoiu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Virgil Piersic having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Moise Cârstoiu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gyepes CS's supporters rose to their feet, but Moise Cârstoiu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Virgil Piersic breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 22nd minute, Laurențiu Codin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gică Mălaimare sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Manuel Melinescu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Manuel Melinescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dinu Dulca having to interfere. 54 minutes into the match, Gisteni's Manuel Melinescu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dinu Dulca narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Virgil Piersic took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Moise Cârstoiu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 61st minute Gică Mălaimare shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Virgil Piersic saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Gică Mălaimare had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 62 minutes of play, Gyepes CS's Moise Cârstoiu made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Virgil Piersic was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Manuel Melinescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Moise Cârstoiu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 80th minute, Moise Cârstoiu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gyepes CS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Moise Cârstoiu in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Virgil Piersic prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The supporters of Gyepes CS booed when Gisteni was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Horia Hudiță didn't get a good kick on the ball.
